CHEM 1000 - Preparatory Chemistry Tutorial

1 credit hour
Intended for students who plan to take CHEM 1500 - General Chemistry I , but who do not meet the prerequisite for prior chemistry experience. This hybrid course uses an online, self-paced tutorial and practice system to introduce some of the foundational terms, concepts, and skills encountered in general chemistry. Independent online work is supplemented with weekly lecture and practice sessions, study groups, and meetings with the professor. Graded CR/F.

Registration Restriction(s): Permission of department
Prerequisite or Co-requisite Course(s): MATH 1000 or placement into a higher math course
