HONR 2300 - The Rise of Science

This seminar examines 16^th- and 17^th-century Scientific Revolution beginning with its roots in medieval Islamic and European scientific inquiry and culminating in the work of Kepler, Galileo, and Newton. It includes laboratory experiments in 17th century physics and laboratory exercises in early astronomical reasoning.
