THRS 4300 - Major Themes and Thinkers in Christian Theology5 credit hours This course explores how selected theologians have approached key themes in Christian theology and will analyze the theological choices, influences, and method evident in their work. Themes may include the doctrine of God, Christology, ecclesiology, theological anthropology, wealth, violence, gender/sexuality, or creation/the environment. Required for THRS majors specializing in Christian Theology. Advanced Comparative Religion course option for THRS majors specializing in Comparative Religion. Open to minors to satisfy the CT or TE requirement and to others as an elective. Offered every other year.
