ECEGR 3300 - Fields and Waves4 credit hours Transmission lines are studied as a bridge from circuit analysis to understanding electromagnetic fields. Then, electric and magnetic fields are studied using vector algebra, culminating in Maxwell’s equations which are used in the analysis of plane waves and the introductory study of guided waves, electromagnetic (EM) interference, and antennas.
Prerequisite Course(s): PHYS 1230; MATH 2340; ECEGR 3110
