KINE 3400 - Principles of Human Nutrition5 credit hours Formerly - SPEX 3120 This course explores nutrition from a bio-psycho-social perspective. Specifically, the physiological, psychological and sociological components of nutrition will be explored in detail. Students will understand digestive anatomy and physiology, uncover principles of a healthy diet, learn the role of ergogenic aids, and appreciate the interaction(s) between the environment and an individual’s physiology.
Prerequisite Course(s): Grade of C- in KINE 1200/1201
