Requirements

To earn a minor in Spanish, students must complete 35 credits in Spanish with a grade point average of 2.00 including:

SPAN 1350 - Spanish Language III 5 credit hours
SPAN 2150 - Spanish Language IV 5 credit hours
SPAN 2250 - Spanish Language V 5 credit hours
SPAN 2350 - Spanish Language VI 5 credit hours

SPAN Electives

SPAN Electives (15 credits numbered 3000/4000) see Course Descriptions. Students have an option to fulfill 15 elective credits doing Study Abroad, with courses subject to approval by their Spanish Academic Advisor

NOTES:

- If a student’s native language is Spanish, the student may receive a Spanish minor by fulfilling the required number of credits with classes numbered 3000/4000.
