Requirements

To earn a minor in French, students must complete 35 credits in French with a grade point average of 2.00 including:

FREN 1350 - French Language III 5 credit hours
FREN 2150 - French Language IV 5 credit hours
FREN 2250 - French Language V 5 credit hours
FREN 2350 - French Language VI 5 credit hours

FREN Electives (15 credits numbered 3000/4000) see Course Descriptions. Students have an option to fulfill 15 elective credits doing Study Abroad with courses subject to approval by their French Academic Advisor.

NOTES:

- If a student’s native language is French, the student may receive a French minor by fulfilling the required number of credits with classes numbered 3000/4000.
