Requirements

To earn a minor in French, students must complete 35 credits in French with a grade point average of 2.00 including:

FREN 1350 - French Language III 5 credit hours
FREN 2150 - French Language IV 5 credit hours
FREN 2250 - French Language V 5 credit hours
FREN 2350 - French Language VI 5 credit hours

French Electives

Complete 15 credits of upper-division (3000/4000) FREN Electives at Seattle University. Students interested in taking these electives through Study Abroad should consult their French advisor. See Course Descriptions.

NOTES:

- If a student’s native language is French, the student may receive a French minor by fulfilling the required number of credits with classes numbered 3000/4000.
