TH 487 - Directing Lab: World Building

3 credit hours
Students apply the vocabulary and analytical skills essential to the work of the director as a generative artist. Students will create a world of the play applied to an established work for which the director has autonomy of vision. They will then move on to direct a devised piece based on a central theme or subject of their choosing, based in empathy. This course will culminate in a showcase of the directors’ works.
