AN 224 - Storyboarding

3 credit hours
In this course, students will explore the visual development of film and animated projects. Narrative principles like story structure, visual language, cinematography, timing, and more will be explored through lecture and discussion, screenings, in-class exercises, and presentations. Students will develop their own stories and characters to convert into scripts and then into storyboards. Storyboard presentations will be discussed and interpreted by the class to identify if intended story goals are conveyed to the audience.
