ECON 4130 - Causal Inference5 credit hours By introducing students to contemporary econometric methods focusing on causal inference, this course prepares students to conduct empirical research across a broad range of business and economics fields, to address policy relevant questions, and to think critically about econometric methods and findings more generally. Topics include random assignment, regression, instrumental variables, regression discontinuity designs, differences-in-differences, fixed effects, and random effects models.
