DATA 3320 - Methodology and Applications of Data Science5 credit hours Foundational methodology for data science. Students will learn to progress from a contextual understanding of a problem through to data cleaning, exploratory data analysis and visualization, modeling and optimization, culminating in data-informed decision making. Contextual issues of data in society, including ethical and legal considerations.
