PSYC 4800 - European Psychologists5 credit hours This course is designed to help students appreciate the critical importance of place and person as influencing variables when reading and understanding psychological theory. This is done by transporting students out of the classroom and into the worlds experienced by the Founders of Psychology. The theories of Freud, Frankl, Adler, and Jung, have all had a profound impact on the field of Psychology and ultimately Western Civilzation. This course and its travel component introduces students to the cultural, historical, political, religious, and personal elements of personality theory.
