HUMT 1450 - Context of Community Engagement

How can community engagement lead to a more just and humane world? In this course, you will contextualize your work in the community by looking at the history of Seattle and specifically the neighborhood adjacent to Seattle University. This course examines the community assets surrounding campus and how these assets support our neighbors. Through community engagement opportunities, you will deepen and broaden your understanding of how context impacts our ability to live, work and lead in a community.
