MATH 1230 - Calculus for Life Sciences

5 credit hours
Limits; rate of change; derivatives, basic differentiation formulas, extrema; the definite integral. Applications to the life and social sciences. Graphing calculator required. Core mathematics option.

Prerequisite Course(s): MATH 1010 or MATH 1021 with a C- or better or satisfactory score on SAT or ACT or the Mathematics Placement Exam
Prerequisite or Co-requisite Course(s): MATH 1022, unless exempted by qualifying examination
