STMC 571 - Psychopathology3 This course provides an overview of psychosocial difficulties that disrupt personal and family life, as well as work and other human relationships and activities. Students explore: psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioral descriptions of psychopathology; the contributions of individual and systemic theories of development; and cultural differences in defining normalcy and health. Diagnostic categories and treatment options are introduced.
