AEDT 516 - Instructional Design: UDL & Technology3 This course identifies why and how teachers should use technologies in their teaching. By exploring the principles of Universal Design for Learning
(UDL) and a framework of equity and technology, the course looks at tools that will help instructors use the potential of technology to support
learning. Students will explore many technological tools and, more importantly, will learn a framework for assessing and applying these
tools. The course will help students understand why UDL and an understanding of technology equity provide this framework, and the course
also provides students with the skills to apply the framework in their teaching strategies and the ways they design curricula.
