MATH 5310 - Probability for Engineering4 credit hours This course introduces students to basic concepts and theorems in probability theory: the binomial, exponential, Poisson, normal, and other fundamental probability distributions; moments; limit theorems, extreme value distributions. Emphasis will be placed on concepts, problem solving, and engineering applications.
