NURS 5402 - Acute Care I - Management of Chronic Conditions in the Acute Care Setting5 credit hours During this course, you will receive an introduction to inpatient clinical advance practice nursing to manage 1) acute health conditions and 2) manage multiple complex comorbid health conditions which must be co-managed during an acute situation. The advance practice nurse must be able to formulate a plan of care based on these rapidly changing conditions. Registration restrictions may be bypassed by the department with permission of instructor.
