NURS 6190 - Quality Improvement Process and Methodologies

This course introduces quality and process improvement methodologies and their application across a range of health care operations. It addresses the evaluation, change, and measurement of processes and associated patient outcomes in an environment that must also consider many external forces such as health care policy, regulatory agencies and consumers. Leading change across complex organizations to improve systems and remain competitive in a constantly changing industry is a core theme. Registration restrictions may be bypassed by the department with permission of instructor.
