PUBM 5300 - Budgeting and Financial Management3 credit hours Formerly - PUBM 530 Examines primary concepts and purposes of financial management and internal controls in public and nonprofit organizations; defines terminology and addresses principles of financial accounting. Concepts include program structure, budget forecasting, audit responsibility, analysis of financial statements, and analysis of financial condition. Emphasis is upon student analysis of financial management systems within contemporary organizations. Required.
