Early Career Master of Business Administration

The Early Career MBA program is designed to equip students who have earned non-business undergraduate degrees with applicable knowledge, leadership, and decision making skills imperative to operating in the world of business. This one year, full time, accelerated cohort program is designed specifically for students who have recently completed their bachelor’s degrees, who come from a variety of undergraduate backgrounds and who wish to broaden their knowledge base and expand their career options.
. The program is constructed with the following Program Learning Outcomes:
- Analyze contemporary business challenges (including topics such as sustainability, equity and/or technology) using qualitative and/or quantitative skills.
- Identify business problems or opportunities, generate alternative solutions, and recommend a course of action.
- Recognize and critically analyze ethical dilemmas in business and defend a course of action.
- Communicate effectively across audiences.
- Critically examine your interpersonal skills to add value to your teams and/or organizations.
- Formulate a career direction based on your professional interests and strengths.

Degree Requirements:
The program is designed as a 12 month, full-time cohort program requiring the completion of 48 credits including 14 three-credit courses and a six-credit capstone course. I. Required Courses
45 credits, including: II. Program Elective
3 credits: - Elective approved by advisor
III. Supplemental Activities
Students are required to complete an approved minimum of extracurricular activities which include participation in Albers Career Center seminars, the Albers Mentor Program and the Executive Speaker Series. Minimum credits required for degree: (48)
