BRMB 5205 - Accounting for Business

This course requires an integrated examination of financial statements with emphasis on analyzing and interpreting accounting data for use in evaluating a firm’s financial status and operating performance. Topics include the conceptual and regulatory framework of accounting, proper reporting of assets, liabilities, and equities pursuant to GAAP, related ESG financial disclosures, cash flow analysis, product costing methods, and the use of accounting data for profit planning and performance management.
