MATH 1026 - Advanced Algebra and Functions

5 credit hours
A comprehensive study of functions including linear, quadratic, other polynomial, exponential, and logarithmic functions. Problem solving and mathematical writing are emphasized as well as algebraic skill. 

Credit not granted for more than one of MATH 1010, MATH 1021, MATH 1024, or MATH 1026. Core mathematics option.

 

Prerequisite Course(s): A satisfactory score on SAT or ACT or the Mathematics Placement Exam.
