The 3+3 / Accelerated Program offers a pathway for motivated students interested in a legal career to complete a Bachelor’s degree and a Juris Doctorate at Seattle University in six years.

Participating students complete all the disciplinary and University Core Curriculum graduation requirements of their undergraduate major within their first three years. Then, if admitted into the School of Law, students earn their bachelor’s degree through the successful completion of the first year of law school. Applying credits earned during the first year of law school toward the completion of their final year of undergraduate study saves students one full year of time and expenses from the typical 7-year path from undergraduate study to a JD. The 3+3 / Accelerated Program also allows students a jump start on beginning a professional career, and avoids the time, effort, and expense of applying to multiple law schools.
