MATH 1023 - Advanced Algebra and Functions A

5 credit hours
Review and extension of basic arithmetic, basic algebra, and algebraic methods for solving equations and inequalities. Problem solving and mathematical writing are emphasized as well as algebraic skill. Grade assigned after MATH 1024 - Advanced Algebra and Functions B   is complete.  

Credit not granted for both MATH 1000 and MATH 1023.

Prerequisite Course(s): A satisfactory score on SAT or ACT or the Mathematics Placement Exam.
