MKTG 4640 - Digital Marketing5 credit hours Formerly - IS 4620 This course offers a practical exploration of the digital marketing landscape. Sample topics may include: website development and optimization, search engine marketing and pay-per-click advertising, content marketing, email marketing, influencer marketing, and generative artificial intelligence (AI). Emphasis will be placed on the integration of digital marketing efforts into an organization’s overall marketing strategy. Students will be introduced to tools that will allow them to appropriately measure and evaluate the effectiveness of digital marketing campaigns. Digital trends, new technologies, and key opportunities for innovation will be discussed.
Prerequisite Course(s): C- or higher in MKTG 3500
