MKTG 3570 - Personal Selling

5 credit hours
This course introduces the principles, concepts, and techniques of personal selling, in which the value of marketing offerings such as products, services, ideas, people, events, and experiences are communicated to a target customer in an interpersonal setting. Emphasis will be placed on embracing technological tools to improve selling effectiveness and achieve marketing/sales goals. The focus is on personal selling as an embodiment of the firm’s marketing strategy, and the principles apply to the “selling” of marketplace offerings and also oneself as a brand.

Prerequisite Course(s): C- or higher in MKTG 3500
