SPSY 5630 - Linking Assessment to Instruction

3 credit hours
Provides students with knowledge of scientifically-based research practices to improve educational outcomes for school-age children. Emphasis will be placed on linking assessments to high quality instructional practices in the areas of reading, writing, math, and related skill domains. Evidence-based methods of data collection, decision-making, progress monitoring, and evaluation of outcomes will be emphasized. Emphasis will be placed on ethical decision-making, advocacy, and culturally sensitive practices within diverse schools and communities.
