STMM 5490 - Methods and Contexts of Theological Reflection

This course equips and encourages theological reflection as the dialogue between the wisdom of a religious/spiritual tradition and the contemporary human situation. Attention will be given to the interpreter, the “text,” and their historical, intellectual, and cultural contexts; major themes and root metaphors of theology (expressed in a variety of media), and different methods of doing theology.
