STMM 5200 - Introduction to Scriptural Wisdoms

3 credit hours
An academic and ministerial overview of the Scriptural Wisdoms found in the Hebrew Bible, the Apocrypha and the Christian Scriptures, studied in light of its historical, literary and theological milieu. This course also surveys some major interpretive methods in biblical criticism to provide a framework for the study of Sacred Scriptures and the hermeneutical tools for preaching and teaching their messages.
