STMM 5030 - Theology, Ecumenism, and Pluralism3 credit hours This course invites students to approach theology from ecumenical and religiously pluralistic sets of perspectives. It includes an overview of the major theological streams within the Christian ecclesiological traditions, and introduces current methodologies that shape interfaith dialogue and religious pluralism. The course also assesses the modern ecumenical movement for overcoming division toward seeking deeper unity, while exploring the values of 21st century pluralism that are reshaping religious identities today.
