STML 5690 - Leadership Integration

3 credit hours
This online course engages MATL students during the degree-program internship occurring in the final 27 credits of the program. Enrollment in this online course must occur at some point during the 160-200 internship hours and must begin at the beginning of an academic quarter. This course integrates on-the-ground learning and a commitment to justice with leadership theory with coaching provided during the internship period. Students focus on applying frames of leadership to concrete leadership situations, identifying leadership styles in operation, and initiating change in an organization.
