A review of functions, algebraic, and trigonometric concepts. Introduction to limits and derivatives of polynomials, rational and trigonometric functions; differentiation laws. An emphasis on problem solving skills. Core mathematics option.

Prerequisite Course/s: A grade of C- or better in Math 1021 (formerly MATH 120/1321) or satisfactory score on SAT or ACT or the Mathematics Placement exam
