SOCL 3130 - Sociological Research Methods5 credit hours Formerly - SOCL 309 This course deals with the why and how of social research. We will cover two main themes: the epistemology of social science and the logic of study design. Students will chart the logic of a social study and establish criteria for evaluating this study. At the conclusion of this course students will be able to understand and interpret information about the contemporary social world. Required of all SOCL majors.
