IS 4660 - Database Systems in Business5 credit hours Formerly - IS 466 This course introduces fundamental concepts and implementations of database systems in business. Topics include: relational model, entity-relationship model, SQL, data warehousing and data mining. Students use relational database management systems and computer aided software engineering tools for instruction and assignments.
Prerequisite Course/s: IS 3150, advanced standing in the Albers School or instructor permission. IS 3150 may be taken concurrently with one other ECIS major course.
