THRS 2300 - Spiritual Traditions: East and West5 credit hours Formerly - THRS 230 Study of the revelation-authority religions of the West (Judaism-Christianity-Islam) compared with the wisdom-experience traditions of Asia (Hindu-Buddhist-Tao-Shinto). Focus on historical data and Scriptural texts of each tradition to understand different views of person, community, sacred world, and meditation as experienced relationship to the divine.
