PLSC 3110 - The Politics of Race, Class and Poverty

5 credit hours
Formerly - PLSC 311
Political causes and consequences of race and class hierarchies and marginalization in the U.S. at the level of ideology, institutions, and individuals. Examination of how this tension is manifest in the peculiar American view of poverty and social policy as outwardly individually based, yet inherently group based in practice.
