PHYS 3630 - Introduction to Geophysics

Formerly - PHYS 363
An introduction to physics of the earth. Topics include earth formation; plate tectonics; geomagnetism; continuum mechanics; earthquakes and seismology; physical properties of the deep earth; high-pressure geophysics.

Prerequisite Course/s: PHYS 2030, PHYS 2500; CPSC 1220 or ECEGR 1010; or permission of instructor
