HIST 3500 - History of United States Foreign Policy5 credit hours Formerly - HIST 350 This course will examine the conduct of the United States government in international affairs from the Continental Congress’ alliance with France in 1778 to the war on terror in the early twenty-first century. There will be a particular emphasis on the twentieth century through the use of primary source manuscripts reflecting the practice of American diplomacy.
