CMJR 3040 - Art of Interviewing5 credit hours Formerly - CMJR 304 This course will guide students through an exploration of the principles and practical skills that make up the art of interviewing. Students will probe “contextualizing” and the interdisciplinary theories that drive the process of interviewing. And they will apply those principles and theories as they study the practice of “asking questions,” “structuring interviews,” “using culturally sensitive language,” “observation,” and “listening.”
