BIOL 3150 - Virology5 credit hours Formerly - BIOL 315 General aspects of viruses including structure, genetics and replication. Study will focus on relevant viruses important for understanding lifecycles,human and animal disease and immune system interactions. Broader implications such as vaccine development and gene therapy will be discussed. Four lecture hours and three laboratory hours per week.
Prerequisite Course/s: BIOL 1610/1611, 1620/1621, 1630/1631 (all with C or better); CHEM 1520; BIOL 2700 recommended Terms Offered: Spring
