STMC 574 - Psychopharmacology

This course focuses on the collaborative nature of relationship and pastoral therapy, with a special emphasis on working with prescribers and client use of psychiatric medications. There will be a brief introduction to neuroscience, and then the use of psychotropic medication including indications and contraindications will be examined. Additionally, service coordination will be introduced. Bio-psycho-social-spiritual dimensions will also be considered. Majors only.
