NURSI 541 - Foundational Concepts and Skills for Nursing6 credit hours Examination of the nature and context of professional nursing using systems theory as a framework. Introduction to concepts of health, health promotion and protection for individuals, families, and communities. Beginning practice of foundational nursing skills, including individual, family, and community assessment, basic nursing care, and communication.
