NURS 556 - Geriatric Assessment: Clinical Practicum

Clinical experience in primary care management of older adults. Application and use of assessment tools to quantify/evaluate common geriatric syndromes. Emphasis is placed on comprehensive assessment and research-based advanced nursing interventions to promote, maintain and restore health of the elderly. Prerequisites: NURS 501, 521, 522, 524. Co-requisite: NURS 555.
