Teaching, Learning and Social Justice
The newly revised Master in Teaching (MIT) program is a 10.5 month, full-time, day-time and in-person teacher preparation program. Upon completing the MIT program in just three quarters, teacher candidates will graduate with a Master in Teaching (MIT) and will be recommended to the state for a Washington State Residency Teaching Certificate. As a student in this program, teacher candidates will specialize in either the elementary endorsement or a subject-specific secondary endorsement.
