Degree Requirements
Minimum requirements for the degree are 45 graduate credits. A maximum of 12 credits taken in non-matriculated status may be applied to this program. Students may be allowed up to 10 transfer credits as described earlier in this Catalog but at least 36 graduate credits must be completed at Seattle University. All degree requirements must be completed within six years after course work has begun.

NOTES:
- Acceptable CPSC electives include five-credit CPSC courses numbered from 5100-5799. Five-credit special topics courses (CPSC 5910) can also be used to fulfill electives.
- Courses that fulfill a categorical requirement (applied algorithms, systems, and software development) will fulfill that requirement. A student can take additional courses in any category to fulfill CPSC electives. A single course cannot be used to simultaneously satisfy a categorical requirement and an elective.
- For students selecting the research option, satisfactory performance (B- or better) in CPSC 5990 is required.
- For students selecting the course option, satisfactory performance (B- or better) in CPSC 5890 is required.
