Post-Master’s Certificate in Nursing/Nurse-Midwifery Specialization

Certificate Requirements:

The Post-masters certificate midwifery curriculum is a 7-quarter/2-summer program that prepares professional nurses with master’s degrees as certified nurse-midwives to provide direct primary care to women and newborns.

I. Foundation Courses

II. Specialization Area: Nurse Midwifery

38 credits, including:

NURS 5039 - Primary Care of Women: Clinical Practicum
NURS 5049 - Management of Gynecologic Health: Clinical Practicum
