CPSC 4310 - Machine Learning5 credit hours This course introduces machine learning foundations, concepts, and algorithms and their applications in analyzing massive amounts of data to find interesting patterns that can be used to assist decision making or provide predictions. Topics include decision trees, Bayesian classification, clustering, association rules, time series analysis, neural networks. Students are expected to analyze real-world data.
Prerequisite Course(s): C or better in CPSC 2430 and C- or better in MATH 2310 and C- or better in MATH 2320
