ORGL 3010 - Understanding Leadership5 credit hours This course promotes leadership formation through the study of leadership theory and concepts as well as exercises in the practical application of leadership. The course includes analysis of historical approaches to leadership and focuses on influential contemporary leadership perspectives. Through an examination of leadership theory and research, self-assessments and reflection, and application to the work environment, students will begin to create a personal leadership philosophy and growth plan.
